Oakmere Events is based in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Our Venues are all stunning and are totally bespoke to all of your wedding needs. All have stunning views of the hills, fields & woodland and there are 3 area’s to choose from. We pride ourselves on providing a truly personal service for your marriage ceremony and we work closely with you to ensure all your needs and requirements are met. In addition, each of our wedding spaces can be dressed beautifully to your specification ready for your big day.
Our tepee is the perfect wedding venue for outdoor celebrations, guaranteed to wow your guests and create lasting memories. Make your wedding day a dream come true
Should you wish you can choose to include our lovely animals in your big day. Alpacas are gentle and loving, making them the perfect addition to your countryside ceremony. They’re presence and their soft, gentle hums, alongside our backdrop of beautiful small lake makes for a serene, tranquil combination that is certainly wedding-worthy. Being outdoors in the countryside is the best way to celebrate your special occasion.
Lakeside Dual Hat Tepee
Our twin big hat tepee is the perfect location for a wedding with views over our lake, our land and forest with grazing alpacas and horses.
The tepee can cater for up to 80 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast to 120 for a more informal buffet wedding breakfast.
There is pathway entrance dressed with lights and a terrace to the rear overlooking the lake and the gorgeous views of the hills & fields. The Tepee has a fully stocked bar, a DJ & Dancing area and a firepit.
The Walled Garden, Barn & Tepee
We are delighted to introduce our Walled Garden, Barn & Tepee. This is a great place to have your wedding ceremony & reception as it is ideal for a more intimate wedding. The Tepee opens up to reveal the beauty of the walled garden, with stunning foliage, waterfall & outdoor seating this can be perfect to enjoy your wedding day with your guests. You can also chose to have the company of our beautiful peacocks too.
We can cater for up to 60/70 guests in this space.
Woodland Weddings
Our beautiful woodland space is the perfect spot for a marriage ceremony. Amidst the forest area there is a wooden gazebo dressed with lights, fabrics, foliage and flowers. This area has bench seating and can be dressed to compliment its surroundings. The party can then be moved to either the Barn or the Tepee dependant on the number of guests.
Your ceremony at Oakmere Events can take place in our gorgeous tepee or outside on the lakeside decking or on the lawn in the sunshine! You and your guests will have amazing views of both our friendly alpacas, fields, hills and woodland. Our alpacas will even dress for the occasion – dressed in bow ties, they’ll be on hand to greet your guests as they arrive! We have a licensed structure so you and your witnesses will be able to do the legal bit on site.
Our wedding alpacas are the friendliest of the bunch here at Oakmere Alpacas. They are relaxed and comfortable when it comes to trusting humans, especially those that have treats to offer! You and your guests will have the opportunity to feed the alpacas, helping you to create a special bond on your special occasion. Our alpacas are all extremely confident and love showing off in front of an audience, so we’re sure they’ll make your day extra special.
